Have your say

We are always working to improve the health services we provide but we need your help. We need to know how you find our services – what works well? What could be improved?

What you tell us really does make a difference. We use it to make recommendations for service improvement, identify good practice that can be copied elsewhere, and consider suggestions about improvement to health care based on your experiences.

The PCT believes that engaging with service users, local communities and partner organisations can lead to:

  •  Improved service quality with more responsive services

  • Services that are patient centred and focused on local need

  • More effective use of resources in the delivery of services

  • Informed choice and greater involvement in individual care and treatment decisions

  • Increased accountability to patients and public and a greater sense of public ownership.

A report on patient and public involvement activity in 2010 and the impact it has had on commissioning decisions is available here.

Details of how you can get involved in shaping health services are given on the Patient and Public Involvement page.

You can also tell us what you think about our services (whether good or bad), send an enquiry to the Patient Advice and Liaison Service or give us feedback on our website by using the Compliments, comments and complaints form.
