Get involved in health procurement
NHS Sussex procures (“buys in”) services in a competitive process for health services in West and East Sussex, and Brighton & Hove.
In line with the principles of engaging patients and the public in decision making, a panel of lay “procurement experts” is being established; the members of this group will work alongside NHS procurement staff and commissioners to ensure that the best possible services are procured for the NHS across Sussex.
Lay members do not need to have any particular skills and experience; we are looking for people with an interest in this area, and who can commit the time required to be involved.
